Junior Kindergarten 2018-2019 Welcome Letter

Hello and welcome to Junior Kindergarten at Hilton Elementary!  My name is Mrs. Spaanstra and I will be your child's Junior Kindergarten teacher.  I assume that some of the children (and parents) are a bit nervous about the first day of Junior Kindergarten.  Honestly, I am too.  Every year I have butterflies when I see and meet all the new families and children, but I am looking forward to a year of growing, playing, exploring, and learning together.
 
I really hope your child is excited about beginning the school year… all of the anxieties about the “newness” will soon disappear and we will all be having such a great time as we start learning our routines and making friends to enjoy throughout the year.  I am sure you have many questions about your child’s Junior Kindergarten year; I hope this newsletter will answer some of them; we will discuss more details when we gather at the Orientation/Meet & Greet.  If I do not answer all of your questions, please feel free to email me at spaansa@brightonk12.com and/or sign up for our Class Text/Remind located under General Class Information on this Website.

JK/K ONLY Drop off at Hilton Entrance @ 9:15am.
Parent Meeting with Mr. Eisele in the Media Center @ 9:30am.
Parent Pick-Up Recommended @ 3:15pm/Side Entrance.
